For the third edition of the exclusive collaboration between ACT and the renowned Château Palmer, Finnish master pianist Iiro Rantala dedicates himself to his love of the great jazz standards. Together with producer Andreas Brandis, he has assembled a new trio featuring Finnish-born, New York–based bassist Kaisa Mäensivu and Danish drummer Morten Lund. The recordings — at times tender and melodic, at times intensely swinging — carry the unmistakable magic of the historic Bordeaux château.
