Miki N'Doye
The Senegalese bassist and singer has made a name for himself by combining traditional West African music with jazz and funk. Born in Dakar, he moved to Europe, where he performed with numerous international musicians and played an important role in the world music scene. His music is characterised by groovy bass lines and a strong rhythmic focus inspired by the sounds of his homeland. N'Doye is known for his ability to build musical bridges between African traditions and Western styles.
