Solveig Slettahjell
The Norwegian jazz singer studied jazz singing at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and became known for her unique, intimate singing style, which combines jazz, pop and folk elements. Her breakthrough came with albums such as ‘Pixiedust’ and ‘Come In From The Rain’, which were recognised for their arrangements. Slettahjell has gained international recognition and has collaborated with various musicians and ensembles such as Knut Reiersrud. She is an important figure on the Scandinavian jazz scene.
